이날치는 영화 <타짜>, <좋은 놈, 나쁜 놈, 이상한 놈>, <곡성>, <부산행>의 음악감독이자 어어부프로젝트, 씽씽에서 활약한 베이스 장영규를 주축으로, 씽씽의 드럼 이철희, 개성 넘치는 소리꾼으로 활약한 권송희, 안이호, 전효정으로 이루어진 얼터너티브 팝 밴드다. 2019년 초 결성되어 조용히 입소문을 타기 시작한 이날치는 ‘현대카드 큐레이티드 53: 들썩들썩 수궁가’ 공연을 데뷔로 하여 서울인기페스티벌, 잔다리페스타 등 다양한 무대에서 부지런히 공연해왔다. 두 대의 베이스와 드럼, 네 명의 판소리 보컬이 만들어 내는 오묘한 하모니와 주술과도 같은 가사, 앰비규어스 댄스 컴퍼니의 현란한 몸짓이 어우러진 네이버 온스테이지 ‘범 내려온다’ 영상은 조회수 130만을 훌쩍 뛰어 넘으며 화제를 모았다. LEENALCHI is an alternative pop band consisting of Jang Young-Gyu (a bassist & a music director), Lee Chul-Hee (a drummer) from Ssing Ssing, characterful, unique-voiced vocalists, Kwon Song-Hee, Ahn Yi-Ho, and Jeon Hyo-Jung. The band is led by Jang Young-Gyu, who is not only a music director of the movies <Tazza>, <The Good, The Bad, The Weird>, <Train to Busan>, and <THE WAILING>, but also a bassist from Ssing Ssing. The group was formed in early 2019 and began to go viral quietly by word of mouth which led to their first mainstream solo concert, “Hyundai Card Curated 53”. Since then, they have been actively performing on various stages, including “Seoul Soldout Festival”and “Zandari Festa”. The YouTube video of Naver Onstage, “Tiger is Coming” with the flamboyant gestures of Ambiguous Dance Company showing profound and mysterious sound harmonized by drummers, two bassists, and four pansori vocalists along with spell-like lyrics, attracted the attention of the viewers which led to more than 1.3 Million views.
