LEEBADA

2015년 5월 4일, 첫 싱글앨범 'You Got Me'를 발표하며 데뷔하였다. 전형적인 PBR&B를 채용한 앨범으로 인기를 끌었다. 2016년 11월 23일, 첫 미니앨범 'HYPE'를 발표하며 본격적으로 R&B 아티스트로서의 자질을 보여주었다. 이외에도 오왼, NO:EL, 서출구, LAYBACKSOUND, 오반 등 여러 아티스트들의 피쳐링에 참여하며 뮤지션으로서 두각을 나타냈다. 대체 불가능한 톤으로 자신만의 색깔을 보여주고 있는데, 이바다 특유의 허스키하고 어두운 무드의 중저음 진성과 그에 대비되는 애절하고 간드러지는 고음으로 곡의 분위기를 살린다고 할 수 있다. 대부분의 대표곡들은 이바다 본인의 자작곡이며, 이는 싱어송라이터 이바다의 작사, 작곡 실력을 눈여겨 볼 수 있는 부분이다. 타 장르에서도 R&B에 비견하는 준수한 실력의 음악성을 보여준다. LEEBADA is a singer-songwriter, who debuted on May 4th, 2015, with her first single, "You Got Me". She became popular as she adopted PBR&B style and developed a wider musical spectrum. On November 23rd, 2016, she released her first EP "HYPE", showing her musical talent in earnest as an R&B artist. In addition, she made a conspicuous figure as a musician by participating as a featuring artist on various songs of popular artists including OWEN, NO:EL, XITSUH, LAYBACKSOUND and OVAN. Her irreplaceable tone makes the mood of the song revive with the combination of her unique, husky, and dark mid-low-pitched natural voice and the contrasting, mournful, and sweet high-pitched voice. Most of the top tracks are written by LEEBADA herself. It proves her competence in songwriting skills, on top of her vocal. LEEBADA has shown her competitive musicality in other genres besides R&B as well.
